These Terms of Service govern your use of slateandfold.com and purchases or quote requests made with Slate & Fold Packaging, operated by Select Gift Boxes Inc, a U.S. company. Orders are fulfilled from our China facility. By using the website, placing an order, or approving a custom packaging quote, you agree to these Terms.

Products and Services

We sell ready-stock gift packaging products and provide custom packaging services, including logo printing, custom sizes, inserts, samples, finishes, and bulk production. Product availability, colors, dimensions, and materials are described as accurately as reasonably possible. Reasonable production tolerances disclosed in a quote, approved sample, or product specification may apply to custom goods.

Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and must use the website only for lawful purposes. You may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape protected content at unreasonable scale, or use our services to violate another person's rights.

Quotes and Custom Orders

Custom prices, minimum order quantities, sample fees, production schedules, shipping options, and payment terms must be confirmed before production. A quote becomes binding only when the required size, quantity, structure, materials, color, finish, artwork, insert, destination, schedule, and payment terms are confirmed and accepted.

Custom production normally begins only after cleared payment and final approval of artwork, specifications, and any required sample. Customer-requested changes may affect price and timing. Once production begins, committed artwork, sample, material, tooling, and production costs are nonrefundable.

Artwork and Customer Content

You represent that you have the right to use every logo, trademark, image, design, text, dieline, or other file you provide. You grant us a limited right to use that content only as needed to quote, prepare samples, manufacture, deliver, and support your order. We may reject content that appears unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or unsuitable for production.

Orders, Pricing, and Payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. For an eligible U.S. ready-stock order, each shipping option shown at checkout is a DDP door-to-door service, and the product amount plus the weight-based shipping charge form the complete DDP order price. Fully custom, oversized, and quoted orders may separately include shipping, sample fees, design work, tooling, or custom-production charges as stated in the written quote. An order is subject to acceptance and availability. We may correct an obvious listing or pricing error before fulfillment; if you do not accept the correction, we will cancel the affected unshipped item and refund the related payment.

Processing, Shipping, and Delivery

Ready-to-ship orders—including logo-printed orders—are normally dispatched within 1–3 business days; for logo orders, the processing period begins after final proof approval. Fully custom packaging typically requires about 20 business days of production after cleared payment and all required approvals, but quantity, materials, finishing requirements, and production complexity may affect the schedule. The written quote confirms the estimated production timeline. Transit time is additional. Sea Freight is estimated at 30–40 business days in transit; Air Freight Express timing is shown at checkout or confirmed in writing for the order.

If we cannot ship within a promised processing period, we will provide a revised shipment date and the option to accept the delay or cancel the unshipped order for a prompt refund, as required by applicable law. Additional details are in our Shipping Policy.

Customs and Import Charges

Eligible U.S. ready-stock orders are delivered DDP to the shipping address provided at checkout. The complete checkout price covers the product amount, selected shipping charge, international transportation, customs clearance, applicable duties and import taxes, and standard brokerage required for delivery. Fully custom, oversized, and other quoted orders follow the written quote; unless the quote expressly confirms DDP or prepaid duties and taxes, the customer is responsible for destination-country customs clearance and related charges.

Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Returns, quality claims, refunds, changes, and cancellations are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. Custom and made-to-order products are not returnable without a confirmed quality issue. Nothing in these Terms limits a nonwaivable right provided by applicable consumer law.

Website Content and Intellectual Property

The website, brand elements, product photography, text, graphics, and original content are owned by or licensed to Select Gift Boxes Inc and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the website for personal or internal business purchasing purposes but may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or exploit protected content without written permission.

Third-Party Services

Our store is hosted by Shopify and may use third-party payment, shipping, analytics, communication, or other service providers. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for an independent third party's service outside our reasonable control, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not exclude warranties, remedies, or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Select Gift Boxes Inc will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or an order. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to a specific order will not exceed the amount paid for the affected product or service, except where applicable law requires a different remedy.

Events Outside Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic, war, labor disruption, carrier interruption, port congestion, customs action, government restriction, power or network failure, or material shortage. This section does not remove any legally required delay notice, cancellation, or refund right.

Governing Law and Venue

To the extent permitted by law, these Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law requires another forum. Nothing in this section limits nonwaivable consumer rights in your state of residence.

Changes, Severability, and Entire Agreement

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, operations, or legal obligations. The version posted when an order is placed governs that order unless a later change is required by law or agreed in writing. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These Terms, the applicable product page or quote, and the policies linked here form the agreement for the order.
